English proficiency requirements for undergraduate applicants

As an international undergraduate applicant, you can demonstrate your English proficiency in several different ways. Here are the methods and minimum requirements accepted by IU Indianapolis. Your submitted test scores must be no more than two years old.

GCSE or GCE O Level in English language	C
International Baccalaureate Higher Level English A1 or A2	Certificate, grade of 4
Freshman English Composition course from a regionally-accredited US university (must be equivalent to IUI W131)	C
