The IU Indianapolis Honors College provides incoming freshmen a unique and rigorous academic experience.
Did you know? Beginning freshmen who apply for admission by February 15 are automatically considered for a Crimson Pride Award? Transfer students have until June 1.
If you are an Indiana resident admitted to IU Indianapolis as a first year student with a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher, and you qualify for the Federal Pell Grant, we've got you covered. In addition to your Pell grant, you may also receive our IU Indianapolis Promise Award, which covers the remainder of your tuition and fees at IU Indianapolis that are not covered by the Pell Grant or other gift aid.
Pell Grants are a form of financial aid offered by the US Department of Education to students earning their first undergraduate degree, who have filed the FAFSA and are determined to have an exceptional financial need.
We offer scholarships to students from all walks of life based on interests and academics. In addition to these listed below, be sure to complete the IU scholarship application after you're admitted to see the awards for which you are recommended to apply. Don't wait though, most programs have a February 15 deadline, while some deadlines are even earlier.
The IU Indianapolis Honors College offers incoming freshmen, who have proven themselves academically and beyond, the opportunity to apply for four competitive scholarships that provide students with financial and academic support. Students must have an application for admission to IU Indianapolis submitted by November 1 and an application to the Honors College on file by November 15 to be considered for one of these awards.
While some IU Indianapolis academic schools offer scholarships for graduate and professional students, they can also be nominated for and awarded a graduate fellowship.
