Your orientation experience

Are you an undergraduate student attending college for the first time? This is what your orientation day might look like. Your day-of schedule will allow time for optional activities.

This is a sample schedule. Your actual orientation schedule will be tailored to your academic goals.

During orientation, you will:

  • Meet with an academic advisor.
  • Learn more about the resources available at IU Indianapolis.
  • Register for classes.
  • Attend optional activities, like taking a campus housing tour or meeting with a financial aid advisor

You may bring up to two guests.
