Education made accessible
We know that a degree makes a difference, so we’re dedicated to making an education accessible for more students. Graduating students from partnering central Indiana high schools with a 3.0 GPA or higher are seamlessly admitted to Indiana University Indianapolis, where they will be supported from the moment they are admitted. These students will increase their earning potential, open up new career paths, and grow as educated and engaged citizens.
Research at our core
Research is—and always has been—central to Indiana University’s mission in Indianapolis, and our recent R1 designation has cemented our status as one of the nation’s premier urban research universities. Working with community and industry partners, faculty and student researchers have left their mark on Indiana and its capital city, making innovative discoveries, expanding knowledge and pursuing creative endeavors with tremendous economic and societal impact.
