Send us your records

As an international undergraduate student, you’ll need to send your complete academic records.

Send records from every secondary school and university/post-secondary institution you have attended. Your records should also include any coursework currently in progress.

If you have university credits already, and they will transfer to less than 26 credit hours at IU Indianapolis, we will also need your secondary school transcripts.

Please provide your records in the original language. If your school is in one of these countries, the original language may be English. If the original language is not English, please also provide an English translation by an official translation agency.

Transcript evaluations by credential evaluation agencies are not necessary.

Submitting academic records

You can have your official documents mailed or sent electronically from your previous institution directly to IU Indianapolis.

Official transcripts are required to evaluate any transfer credit, and for any US university or college you attended. You may have your documents mailed or sent electronically directly from your previous institution directly to IU Indianapolis. Or, you may mail your sealed, official documents to:

International Admissions
Office of International Affairs
902 W. New York Street, ES 2126
Indianapolis, IN 46202 USA

For non-US schools, we can accept electronic copies of your records for admission decision purposes. You can submit electronic copies of your official records by uploading them to the “Submit Academic Records” form in Atlas. Once you are admitted you will be required to submit official, original records in order to verify their authenticity.
