You can apply for scholarships after you’re admitted.
New to IU Indianapolis? Begin with our general application
After you are admitted, complete the IU Scholarships application through One.IU. It opens the door to our entire scholarship system and recommends scholarships you may be eligible for.
Applications typically open every fall prior to the academic year for which they’re awarded.
The deadline for the general application is February 15th. Deadlines and required materials for other scholarships vary.
How to prepare
Every scholarship application is different. Be sure to read the guidelines for each one thoroughly. Some things you may be asked to submit to be considered include:
- Letters of recommendation
- A personal statement or essay
- Your resume
